"My Bionic Hearing:" My Cochlear Implants

Hi!  My name is Ari Schopf, and I have cochlear implants.  When I was young and my parents were learning about cochlear implants, they were fortunate to be able to get information and advice from people they knew.  Since then, my parents and I have had the rewarding experience of being able to share the knowledge we've gained with others, even within our own community.  However, I wanted to try to do more to share my experiences with others, especially young kids who are going through the transition to cochlear implants.

So, I decided to write a short, illustrated book to give kids an idea of what to expect and to give them a sense of hope for the future.  The book is called "My Bionic Hearing."  Please click the link below to read my book.  I hope you enjoy it.
